Professional cleaning of a retractable awning usually takes 45 minutes to 2 hours on site, fabric and frame included. The awning stays mounted: we work directly on the façade.
What changes the duration
- Fabric size: a 3 × 2.5 m terrace awning is much faster than a 6 m shop awning.
- Level of soiling: dust and pollen come off quickly; moss, mould and bird droppings from several seasons need pre-treatment.
- Access: ground floor is faster than an upper floor needing a mobile scaffold.
- Number of awnings: set-up is done once, so each extra awning takes less time.
Drying
The fabric air-dries in a few hours in dry weather. Keep it open until fully dry before retracting it.
