A dirty, green or stained fabric is not a dead fabric. In most cases we see in Belgium, professional cleaning brings it close to new, for a fraction of a replacement. Replace only when the fabric is damaged, not when it is dirty.
Clean: what can be saved
- Grey or black fabric from pollution.
- Green moss and algae streaks.
- Black mould spots, bird droppings, pollen, tree sap, grease.
Replace: the 4 signs
- Tears or open seams.
- Brittle fabric that feels dry and crumbly.
- Deep uneven UV fading.
- Fabric that no longer tightens and pools water.
